Enyah face

Ok. Someone is in teasing mode. My brother? Nope. Arnold? Yes.

I really don’t understand why these people are so eager to piss me off. My brother is blabbing about how Timmy used to tell tales about our days. And as guilty as ever, according to him, Timmy was really into me even when we are still classmates.

Uber Crap.

Timmy Timmy Timmy. But it’s already over. 10 years had passed, so why bring back all the memories?

I heard the knock on my door the second time, and I hurriedly open the door. It was Arnold. He was gesturing about something or someone. He doesn’t want to say a word. Tongue tied? Hmmm. His actions made me curious? Why will he act like this in this time of day? As if in charade.

As I walked slowly downstairs, everything suddenly felt strange. It’s as if a surprise is awaiting for me. I want to go back to my room and lock my door. It feels like, if I walk more closely to the living room then probably there’s no turning back.

I hate surprises. Not really. But I don’t feel like I will be able to handle the feeling of surprise as early as now.

And as my right foot landed on the last step of the stairs, all I could do was stare at the visitor who was patiently waiting for me.

“What are you doing here?”

“Surprise.”

“How? When? Why? What brought you here?”

“Please don’t blame any of our friends, I just want to see you. I miss you so much.”

“But..”

“No buts, please just be happy that I am here.”

“Of course. Of course I am happy. I miss you too.”
